Material Handling Equipment Inspector
(Full time only)
Purpose
Iowa Hoist & Crane inspects overhead material handling equipment throughout the state of Iowa. This includes hoists, cranes, bridges, tool balancers, chain and slings, below-the-hook devices, reaction arms. We have the capability to load test this equipment and to repair air and electric hoists.
Work Hours
Monday through Thursday, 10 hour days
(usually 2:30 pm-1:00 am)
General Requirements
At least 18 years old
Valid Iowa drivers license, with no restrictions
Cannot be on high-risk auto insurance
(Proof of insurance is required)
Good work history
Good with heights
(will work from a minimum 19’-0” man-lift)
Willing to work flexible hours and overtime
Willing to travel, occasionally gone overnight
(very rarely you might be gone 4 nights)
